I have ALWAYS wanted to cover this song. Tonight I finally got around to figuring it out by ear (took 10min) and then recording it.

I have ALWAYS loved AFI. I first discovered them on Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock. Their song "Miss Murder" was on the game. It was always my favorite song to play.

I vividly remember going to the grocery store with my Mom when I was a young kid and always rushing over to the CD/music department. I would use their music-previewer-screen-mini-computer thing to listen to 30sec previews of AFI's music. I especially had a liking for their mid-2000's album "Decemeberundground". I still love that album to this day. In fact I think it's one of the best modern-day albums. Surely one of the best albums to come out of the 2000's.
This song is from that album.

AFI are a KILLER band. They've been around for like 25yrs. They've released like 10 or 11 albums, too I think. Very prolific! They started out as a punk band. But towards the mid-2000's they became more emo-goth-pop-rock. Their guitarist Jade Pudget is a HUGE inspiration to me – and I think he is incredibly clever and creative. Definitely one of the better guitar players of the past 20yrs or so. Davey Havok has a killer voice, too.

In the top video I played the main guitar parts – and in the bottom I just added some supplementary rhythm and also I played the leads in the bottom video.
