This is a short review of our bathroom remodel using a company named RE-BATH.

How did we end up selecting RE-Bath for this job? Well, we have been wanting to remodel our bathroom for the past several years, but we just kept putting it off. Finally, we started getting quotes from various places and ultimately settled on using Re-Bath which was referred to us from a friend.

How much does it cost for a bathroom remodel? Our small bathroom is 5x8 and I took three quotes for this job.

The first quote we got was from Tittle Brothers Construction, a local company, and it included removing everything down to the studs, and replacing it with a walk in tile shower, tile floor, vanity, toilet, drywall and paint. The quote for this bathroom make over was $18,500. It included the price for all materials, including vanity and toilet. They could have started the job in about 4-5 months.

The second quote was from a local contractor who did our neighbors bathroom. We were looking for bathroom makeover ideas so we went and checked it out. It was a modern bathroom remodel and it was beautifully done. The contractor quoted us $8,500 in labor, and we would be responsible to purchase all materials. This also included a complete tear out, replacing the bathtub with a walk-in tile shower, building a bench seat, and replacing the floor tile, vanity, toilet, drywall and paint. He could have started the job in about 4 months.

The third quote we received for the bathroom makeover was based on a referral from a friend who used RE-BATH for his bathroom shower/tub remodel. A salesman came to our house, took measurements, delineated pricing, provided us with various options and samples, and explained every aspect of the ReBath Bathroom Remodel process.

Rebath does bathtub liners and wall systems, which fits over your existing tub and walls. Except in our case, the tub needed to be removed to install the walk-in shower. We were skeptical at first, but once we learned that they will remove the tub, replace the subfloor, replace the behind the wall plumbing, and put water-tight flooring directly over our existing tile floor, we decided to give ReBath serious consideration. Additionally, this type of install takes a few days, and not weeks like a traditional bathroom installation.

The real selling point for us was that we could get away from hard to clean tile by getting into something maintenance free and easy to clean. That's what REBATH offered us. Their acrylic wall systems are beautiful, durable, and free from grout AND come with a lifetime warranty.

How much does RE-BATH cost? I will share with you that of the three quotes we obtained, REBATH was right in the middle. They were not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive either.

Is RE-Bath expensive? Well, that's a matter of opinion I guess. We found that our expectation of what it would cost to remodel our bathroom was not inline with today's market. Therefore, we weighed our options, kept the job within our budget, and selected RE-BATH for this job.

Thank you for coming along on our journey to a beautiful new bathroom. If you found this helpful, give us a thumbs up. It lets us know you were here, and that we are doing something right with the videos we make.

We hope this was helpful and perhaps gave you some ideas for a small bathroom makeover. Good luck with your project.
