Penny Gross, Vice Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and Sylvia Cho, owner of Kogiya restaurant discuss how Annandale, Virginia evolved into a hub for Korean-American culture. Over the past several decades, Korean restaurants and businesses have played a significant role in revitalizing struggling areas of Annandale and earned the community the title of Virginia's original Koreatown. Kogiya, a Korean BBQ restaurant, shows the interactive and engaging nature of Korean cuisine.
