DIY pond aeration is a great way to save some money while getting your pond in a lot better shape. The video is longer than I intended it to be, but I think it's packed with some helpful information.

Some suggested relatively affordable components for your DIY aeration project.
Pumps:
Hiblow HP 100LL - A good linear pump that will work down to 8' of depth and power up to two diffusers. - https://amzn.to/3t1XUSI
Kasco 1/4 HP Rocking Piston Compressor - A good performer without the steep price. Rated for up to 50' of depth and can power two diffusers. - https://www.klmponds.com/kaskm60

Weighted Airline:
3/8" self-weighted line in 100' rolls - https://tinyurl.com/4fm3b24y

Diffusers:
6" Stick Diffusers - https://amzn.to/2Qa63pD
Ring Diffuser - https://amzn.to/2Qa63pD

Aeration, as you may know can help with keeping algae under control, bad odors to a minimum, and it keeps fish healthy and happy too.

But it's important to consider a few things about the components that make up a good sub-surface aeration system. And frankly, some of the information online about diy aeration isn't necessarily great for everyone.

So in this video I'll cover five things that I think are important to consider when building your own pond aerator. And if you have other questions that come up after watching it, please post those below in the comments and I'll try to address those as well.
