LISTEN/BUY THIS TRACK ON AN ALBUM HERE!: https://jayhosking.bandcamp.com/album...

A live, semi-improvised track, performed entirely on hardware, and inspired by gratitude for my month in the woods. This one is a real case for why the Octatrack is special, how it can take external input (like the beautiful Subsequent 37, here) and incorporate it into a cohesive song, how it can mangle samples, and how its scenes and faders are the special sauce for performance.

Elektron Octatrack MkII — Samples, effects, master-level mixing and scenes
Moog Subsequent 37 — Main arpeggio
Eventide H9 — reverb on the Subsequent 37

Written over the last few days in the cabin here, recorded live, and uploaded as is, with only a little compression and limiting on the master.
