The National Democratic Congress -NDC recorded a massive crowed movement from the chairman's house to the palace of the paramount chief of Bunkpurugu Traditional Area. Both the Youth and Aged , men and women came out to jubilate in support of the filing of the MP , Hon. Dr. Abed Azumah Bandim.

On Thursday, 12th October , 2024 , The member of Parliament and NDC Parliamentary candidate Hon. Dr. Abed Azumah Bandim officially filed to contest the 2024 general elections in the Bunkpurugu constituency in the North East Region . A day he was accompanied by the constituency executives and massive electorates in the constituency to the Chief Palace, the EC office and ended with an opened engagements with the masses at the Bunkpurugu Lorry Park on same day.
