The Republic of Estonia will celebrate its 100th anniversary on February 24, 2018. In honor of this beautiful and significant date, I decided to give my native city a small present.

It is the architecture that determines the image of each city and Tallinn got something to brag about. Different epochs have left their marks, which one can follow to study the architectural styles. The appearance of the city is actively changing and so will last forever, no matter whether we like it or not. Therefore, I found it important to capture Tallinn as it is now. It was especially cool to do this on the eve of a significant historical event, since the Republic of Estonia turns 100 years on February 24, 2018.

When choosing the method I naturally turned to photography. However, something tells me that in 10, 20 or 100 years it will be quite boring to look at those numerous pictures. Therefore, these approximately 50 000 photographs and 900 gigabytes of data has turned into this video.

Happy Birthday, Estonia!
