Consider the following when choosing a medical school:

1. Where do you want to be for your 4/5/6/7 years, depending on what specific course you do?

2. Do you want a campus uni or city uni?

3. What admissions tests do you want to sit? UCAT +/- BMAT +/- GAMSAT (graduates)

4. What course structure do you want - Integrated? PBL? CBL? Traditional? Early clinical contact?

5. Is an intercalation year mandatory, optional or not offered?

6. What is the standard academic grades offer? A*A*A, A*AA, AAA, AAB?

7. How are candidates chosen for the interview?

8. Choosing an aspirational, medium level and “easy” choice. (I say “easy” as no medical school is easy to get into obviously, but relatively speaking I mean.)
