My 3 colleagues (Courtney, Briana, Jeffrey) and I attended the Capital One Women Demo Day over the weekend of July 21-22, 2017.

Together, we developed a peer-to-peer social platform targeting middle/high school girls in hope to encourage/empower more girls to stay in STEM. Girls can share their tech projects or experiences in a visually appealing environment, potentially building their profile into a comprehensive project portfolio. In addition, by looking at projects developed by their peers, fellow girl students will be inspired to believe in their own abilities to achieve the same.

The project is developed using MongoDB, Docker, Java SpringBoot, Angular 2, HTML/CSS, and Bootstrap.
