Hi There!

Today a tour of the Eastern Docklands of Amsterdam. Also called the Eastern Harbour Islands. The area consists out of four islands; Java, KNSM, Sporenburg and Borneo Island.
Although today mainly a residential area, these Island used to be part of the port of Amsterdam.

The area is filled with great architecture and visited by vistors from all over the world.
The islands are often seen as a succes of Dutch urban design. An area where people live very close to each other, with an abundance of water, in perfect harmony.
