This was a trippy day because the spring floods came early, which meant that there was still ice in the water. It made for some gorgeous drone shots and fun times dodging while surfing a super fun river wave. It was extra trippy to see the footage after the fact because there was WAY more ice than I realized while I was surfing. A lot of the ice was very clear, so from the water you could barely see it, and my first indication was it ripping at my fins or bouncing off my rail (hopefully not dinging up my board lol). Fun times!
