Five years ago, on 14 June 2017, a massive fire engulfed a high-rise tower block in London, in one of the richest boroughs in the UK.

The Grenfell Tower Fire killed 72 people. It is one of the UK’s worst disasters in recent history.

Around 41% of the tower's disabled or vulnerable residents died in the fire.

Our documentary gives an insight into the lives of disabled people who lived in the Grenfell Tower block through the voices of survivors and a bereaved family member.

They all have a familiar story to tell of how their warnings were ignored, safety compromised and their fight for change still ongoing.

One of our interviewees, Nabil Choucair is chair of the Grenfell Tower Trust. They are a voluntary charity organisation that relies on public donations.
