I decided to draw some moldings or rafter tails on a wooden beam to cut them with the jigsaw. This allowed me to test one of the guides with bearings that I made for the jigsaw. When cutting these rafter tails, it's important that the vertical cut is perfect, otherwise the molding at the end of the beams will look poorly made and won't look beautiful. Now there's no excuse for the pergolas and other roofs we make with wooden structure not to look super nice.
