Are you in a joyous time in life because you know how God has blessed you far more than you deserve?
Our God is praiseworthy and deserves more of our attention and connection through prayer and worship
Or, are you not in a good place? Do you feel like you're not where you're supposed to be?
Or perhaps you don't understand what God is doing in your life in this season
I want to offer to you today that you can trust in God in the difficulty and uncertainty.
Jesus said, in this life you will have trouble, But take heart, I have overcome the world.
Shortly before this he says "I've told you these things so that in me you'll have peace"
Trusting in God and leaning in to his ways, will give you a peace even in the storms of life.
I know that for some of us hearing this is hard to absorb when we we are experiencing loss, sickness, and uncertainty
But, the more you lean into God and the more you ask him for help, the more you have faith and trust in his ways and His love, the more you pray for understanding and peace, he will answer
If you're suffering in addiction, Jesus is more than enough he can help you.
If you're struggling with a sick family member Jesus is more than enough he can help
If you're sick and in pain, Jesus is more than enough he can help you
Jesus loves you eternally, this life is temporary. Our bodies are temporary, Pain is temporary, losses temporary
In a world of uncertainty, There is one thing that you can turn to that is always certain, God's offer is solid, and that through Jesus you can find peace and rest, Jesus is the light in the darkness
Through the love of God you can overcome this addiction, You can overcome this hardship, and you don;t have to live in fear.
Jesus has defeated death and offers us life
In John 15;5 Jesus says I am the vine, you are the branches. Remain in me and you will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.
Consider this: In death, without Jesus, we can do nothing. We all will pass through death one day.
I beg you today, to consider turning back to the one who made you for His glory, turn back to the one who loves you.
While you are here on earth, carry light. Be salt, and light
You don't have to suffer like you have been, in worry, in the heavy cycle of sin and consequences of it. Today, you can be free from these chains
