Watch us remove piston carbon using the Vixen Aquablast 1215 vapor blasting machine. We have found this to be the best method to clean a piston and remove every bit of carbon from the piston ring grooves.

This short video shows the sped up process as we completely clean a piston from "as removed" condition to good as new! This wet blasting method can remove all carbon deposits without harming the piston and ring grooves, unlike dry blasting which can destroy the ring grooves.
