The tobacco industry benefits a lot from the fact that cigarettes are so addictive. With a rigged cigarette the tobacco manufacturers can exceed the legal maximum of toxins. The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment measures how many toxins a smoker ingests. They use an ISO-test, but it doesn't work well. There's also a better test: the so-called 'Canadian Intense', but it isn't allowed yet. Fortunately, December 1st, a new EU-commissioner for Public Health takes her place: Stella Kyriakides.
Send this tweet to Stella Kyriakides: .@kyriakidestella Hi Stella, congratulations on your new job! Can you please legalize Canadian Intense? It’s the best recipe for less cancer in the EU. Walther from @rivm already has the machine. Thanks! #saverickbrandsteder
