NEET UG 2024 Result Updates: Amid growing demands for the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2024) result, the Education Ministry's National Testing Agency (NTA) 08.06.2024 Saturday addressed a press conference to elaborate on issues such as many candidates securing higher marks and a larger number of candidates getting the top rank.

MBBS Admission Process
AIQ Seats Counselling: The MCC conducts four rounds of counselling for 15% AIQ MBBS/BDS seats. After the second round gets over, the remaining seats (if any) are transferred back to the states..
• Deemed/Central Universities Counselling: The DGHS conducts two rounds of counselling for Deemed and Central Universities, followed by a mop-up round.
• State Quota Counselling: The respective state counselling authorities conduct counselling for 85% state quota seats in their states. These seats are generally reserved for candidates holding domicile of the states. The counselling for state quota seats is conducted in two to three rounds, followed by a Mop-Up round.
All the Odisha NEET Qualified candidates who have participate in counseling procedure for MBBS/BDS admission must register in due time in the website of OJEE i.e. www.ojee.nic. Without registration, the candidate cannot proceed to next step of online application. After logging-in to the site, the candidate has to fill up the online application form, make online payment of registration fee and upload required documents for online verification.

MBBS Admission 2024:
MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is a five-year six-month undergraduate medical degree program. The course covers both surgical procedures and the recommendation of medications following a disease diagnosis. Admission to the MBBS program is determined by the NEET exam. There are three types of Counseling Authority for MBBS and BDS Admission in India. Students who want to take admission in MBBS and BDS can register for these three counseling. Admission in MBBS and BDS by these three counseling authorities will be on NEET score but for counseling registration will have to be done separately.
