When life gives you Pineapples.... Make Pineapple Juice?

The 2023/24 ski season has been thin enough as it is. The Last thing we needed was the warmest mid winter pineapple express I think I've ever seen. Low-tide turned into no-tide for many local zones. Naturally, my mind turns to high terrain, 2400m plus or bust. The NW face of Mount Matier was the perfect target, Aussie Couloir could be OK, but if not... I've got a wing for that. The ski out after upper stonecrop could suck, so... I've got another wing for that, too! As an old friend once told me: "The mountain always has the last laugh". I think I heard them chuckling at me as I put my skis on my pack at upper Joffre Lake for the WALK out. The silver lining: EVERYTHING above 2400m!
