Professor Claire Smith, Head of Anatomy at BSMS, provides an update on a special one-off documentary, My Dead Body, for Channel 4. The BSMS team, led by Professor Smith, were able to do this thanks to an amazing woman, Toni Crews, who donated her body to help healthcare students and the public understand the human form and physiology processes in both health and disease – especially related to cancer.
