UAE is a country of seven emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain). While people are only aware of a few cities, the UAE is home to majestic canyons, vast sand deserts, valleys, dunes, and oases. The country certainly is dry, humid, and scorching hot, but we would not want it any other way. It is beautiful in its own right.

Join us as we explore Ras al Khaimah. Sit back and stay awhile. In a world of shorts and reels, soak in the silent and slow flow of nature.

About the Hike:
We went to see Wadi Naqab Cave, in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. The trail stretches up to about 19 kms but we proceeded to see the Koub Canyon. Around 500m before reaching the canyon, we were confronted with very large boulders which made us turn back to the base. Hopefully when we are more physically prepared, we shall do it and finish the trail.

About the Camping Spot:
Just an hour and a half away from the hiking area, Al Qashish Dam is nestled in the beautiful valleys near Kadra area. For a much-needed ecotherapy, the spot is a hidden gem with sunrise and sunset views.
