We continue our road trip through Queensland and the Northern Territory as we make our way to Western Australia. We travel from the famous mining city of Mount Isa to one of the remotest roadhouses in Australia, Barkly Homestead. Along the way we pass through the border town of Camooweal which is 13 km from the Northern Territory border.

We take you through the Northern Territory border which is now policed due to Covid -19. Border entry paperwork should be done online prior to reaching the border for easy access into the Northern Territory.

On reaching Barkly Homestead we give you a quick glimpse of the accommodation and facilities that are available in this quiet oasis in the middle of remote Northern Territory.
