What do you check when your outboard idles and then dies?

In this short video from Boats.net, John will show you where to start if your outboard dies when it’s at idle. Depending on whether your boat has a carburetor or fuel injector, that’s where you’re going to start. From there, John will show you how to work your way back through your fuel and air intake systems to find possible reasons for why your outboard won’t idle properly. Finally, we’ll work our way into the ignition system to look for possible idle issues.
