Infernus is a game changer sword for any tank in New World. After 2 hrs of farming, I literally manifested this sword by chanting its name while fighting the boss. Well... it worked!

Farming Infernus is relatively easy if you have a hammer with TRENCHANT RECOVERY (fully charged heavy attacks heal the player for 41% of the damage dealt). In this clip I used the Sacrosanct hammer which has 5.2% Lifestealing and a Smooth Bone Ring (5.2% leeching). I soloed this boss again later and Trench Recovery hammer is definitely the way to go.


Tips:

- Bring corruption tinctures, Tier IV is fine.

- Line up and group the hounds so that each heavy attack strikes multiple targets.

- Use your shockwave immediately after the boss summons new hounds.

- You can rest on a rock ledge and avoid corruption damage while waiting between boss respawns.
