Lots of learning going on this Tuesday afternoon swoop club. Got to train with the one and only PK for a day for a total of 5 jumps. It was a class packed with learning for all involved.

184: Turned to fast and didn't catch the wing in recovery. It planed out high and had to land straight in almost. First of the day and I expect to be a little rusty. I like a little airball to begin with anyways.

185: Better mechanics and turn with catching the wing but still too high. Head wings were a little fun that day and would catch a thermal forcing recovery.

186: Must of hit a thermal as the wing instantly recovered. The landed was a bit cross wing and I attempted to counter with my flare and ended up rolling it out. Technique wasn't perfect on the entry but at this time I'll chalk it up unseen events.

187: I was a little low after FEELING like I slowed down the turn and added a touch of lean with the harness. It didn't look like I slowed the turn down much but it made a difference with just thoughts and picture. I have the turn rate and feel correct in both outside video review and data.

188: The best into the wind swoop I've had. Added some altitude and a dynamic surge to catch the wing as it starts to recover over top me. The goal is to get behind the wing and help it dive more. I added the surge combined with the better turn mechanics to be a nice surf. This is what I'll be focusing on going forwards. 1/4 brakes really help to extend the glide in the swoop before a full toggle transfer. Rears are a reward not a requirement.

Thank you PK for spending the day with us and I hope you are able to come back soon and I can keep progressing. Next year I should be throwing bigggggg doinks.
