Marino Restrepo - Silence Of The Cross

Sings nice song he composed in Spanish.

Compares purgatory and hell to prison sentences.
Purgatory is temporary. But hell is eternal.

Satan is the jailer.
Who will keep you until you pay the debt.

Gate to heaven is narrow. It is the cross.
It's difficult and painful.

Jesus had many friends until he was persecuted.
Then, all fled and deserted him, except three.

It takes a strong human being to be offended, and still be humble.
When we are offended, it is self love, pride.

It's not enough to read all the bible, mystics, etc, and not change your heart.

Don't share your cross. With suffering, we heal ourselves.
But world doesn't support this concept.
Offer your pain for/to the Lord.

Some religious (monks, priests) gave up everything, except themselves.
It's not about your little self.

Enemy of the soul wants to keep us busy; give us lots of information, and the less we know.

We must diminish, so Jesus can grow.

Some people pretend to be devout. See Matthew 7.
Don't pretend, go through motions. Be real.

Lord only gives eternal benefits, not temporal.

Are you hungry for the eucharist, or for yourself?

We get lots of information, but what is the voice of the shepard?
Sit by the blessed sacrament.
