Sheer Khurma is one of the most famous traditional festive desserts in Central and South Asia. This pudding is created from vermicelli, milk, and various dry fruits. INGREDIENTS:
4 cups milk
4 pcs. cardamom
4 tbsp ghee
¼ cup pistachios (chopped)
¼ cup almonds (chopped)
¼ cup dry dates (chopped)
2 tsp Raisins
1 cup vermicelli
½ cup condensed milk
2 cup whipped cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat the pan on medium low heat. Add ghee to the pan.
2. Add all the nuts, raisins, and dates to the pan and roast them for 5-7 minutes.
3. After they are cooked, take the nuts out of the pan, add vermicelli to the same pan and cook slowly until brown.
4. In a separate pan on medium heat, add the milk and cardamom and cook until it's boiled, stir occasionally.
5. Add condensed milk and whipped cream to the milk.
6. Add the cooked dry fruits to the milk and stir well.
7. After the vermicelli has browned, add it to the milk and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes until the milk has thickened. Stir occasionally.
8. Serve up in a dish!
