This video shows how vinyl should be stretched on certain areas and on other sections it is not necessary. To do the sticking of vinyl onto plastic piece surface I have used 'upholstery yellow glue'. For a better adhesion I would recommend the applicatioin of two coats on both surfaces. The first coat would work as a 'primer'.
I also have used 'steering-wheel basting stitches' to attach the vinyl pieces together.
