Hurricane Beryl has just made landfall in Quintana Roo, Mexico, as a Category 2 hurricane. The center entered between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Today, it will continue its path over the state of Yucatán, Mexico, and over the city of Mérida.

Eventually, it will reach the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where it is expected to reorganize before arriving in Texas between Monday and Tuesday.
