This time, we took a morning walk in Motomachi and Yamate in Yokohama, where a gentle rain was falling. The hydrangeas were in their best season at the America Yama Park and Harbor View Park. The hydrangeas looked even more beautiful in the rain. After that, we took a walk along Yamate Hon-dori Street. We then strolled along Yamate Main Street, visiting Yamate Anglican Church, Yamate 234, Yokohama Yamate West Western-style House, and Yamate Catholic Church.
and other places. On the way, we passed students of Yokohama Futaba Junior & Senior High School and Ferris Girls’ Junior & Senior High School on their way to school. Passing through the narrow and steep slope “Shiokumi-saka”, we reached Motomachi shopping street.
Motomachi and Yamate are full of atmosphere even on a rainy morning. Please enjoy the tour.
