Yami Gautam delivered one of the finest performances in 2022 in A Thursday - a film that sensitively dealt with the topic of abuse. When we at Bollywood Bubble decided to speak to some of the actors who have been Trail Blazers for the year, host Nayandeep Rakshit cornered Yami for a quick chat. In this honest chat, Yami discusses why a film like A Thursday is so relevant in today's times and she also speaks about the different struggles that come with the job today. She admits she's not a PR girl at all - "The paparazzi, being mobbed by fans - I can't do that." She also reveals how being an outsider has sometimes not worked in her favour - from being mocked at parties to being written off, Yami has seen it all. She reminisces a time she had almost thought of giving up on her career and going back home but Bala happened right after. But even with a solid performance in Bala, she wasn't recognised for a popular awards show where they didn't even nominate her.
