Musical taste is a tricky mystery. Each person has his or her own, and yet we insist on homogenizing them all according to fictitious categories, which we then face in a delirious crusade to save the savoir-faire. But there are undoubtedly experts in breaking down and disrupting all the concepts that have existed up to now, something that could not be missing at a festival that is dedicated to predicting - or maybe we should say 'imagining' - the future of the music industry. “Be selective in your musical taste as you get older. If you’re going to gush, only home in on the truly oddball trends in popular music that the overly sophisticated sometimes foolishly forget.” Director John Waters writes in his memoir "Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder" and we couldn't help but invite him to explain it to us in person along with our biggest representative of the fuck-the-system culture, Samantha Hudson.
