Explanation on the Functionality:

Security Profile in Oracle HCM Cloud is used to secure the data. There are various types of security profiles available based on which object we want to secure. For example, a person security profile identifies one or more Person objects, and a payroll security profile identifies one or more Payroll objects. We can assign the security profiles with the HCM Data role, this enables the HCM Data Role to grant access according to the respective security profiles.
