The Grey Crowned Crane is one of Africa’s most majestic birds. It is the national symbol and the national bird of Uganda. The name is due to its yellow crown of feathers, tipped with black.
I have seen it in many parts of Uganda.
It is one of the most photographed birds on the continent.
