After enjoying the food and the music at the Bolivian festival in Elmhurst, Queens we went north to the Westchester county and explored New Rochelle. Liz and Jimmy showed me the new place which has awesome views! I met Thunder and he was shy at first hiding under a bed but eventually we bribed him with a salmon treat, I got a WIP high five and Liz got a nice high five. I find it interesting that Thunder loves being petted as long as we give him food, if he doesn't have food then he hides 😂 . We also explored downtown New Rochelle and decided to walk to the Huguenot Park, observing the calmness in the park greenery was very relaxing and I appreciated my time away from the city. Finally we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse and I took the train to go back home.
