안무가들에게 끊임없는 감흥과 영감을 선사해온 라벨의 ‘볼레로’를 김용걸, 김설진, 김보람 3인의 안무가가 서로 다른 음악적 스케일과 편곡을 바탕으로 각각의 개성과 장점을 살린 춤 무대를 선보인다. 김보람은 "철저하게 처절하게"를 통해 인간이 가진 “표현의 기원”에 접근하여 볼레로 특유의 선율과 리듬을 분해하고 재조립하여 무용수들의 움직임을 최대한 끌어내며 무대를 완성해 간다. 김설진의 "볼레로 만들기"는 일상의 사운드를 수집하여 순간의 소음 속 질서를 만들며 ‘볼레로’를 연주하는 음악적 특징을 기반으로 한다. 이에 사회구조적 모순과 개인의 본질에 대한 물음을 움직임과 ‘볼레로’를 통해 은유적으로 풀어간다. 원곡의 웅장함을 최대한 살린 김용걸의 "볼레로"는 클래식 발레동작의 베이스에 다양한 동작을 편집⋅재조합하여 구성한 안무를 대규모 군무를 통해 기묘한 에너지의 폭발로 조직적인 완성도를 높인다.

Maurice Ravel's ‘Bolero’ is a classical piece that has inspired numerous choreographers and dancers. This time, three choreographers - Kim Yonggeol, Kim Seoljin and Kim Boram - present their own interpretation of Bolero, with different arrangement and musical scale. In "Thoroughly Desperately," Kim Boram explores the movements of dancers by deconstructing and recombining melodies and rhythms unique to the Bolero, while approaching the "origin of expression" that humans have. In "Structure - Making Bolero¿," Kim Seoljin establishes an order in the noises of the moments by collecting the sounds of everyday life, thereby creating and presenting his own 'Bolero.' He questions the essence of individuals and structural contradiction of society in a metaphorical way through movement and 'Bolero.' Kim Yonggeol's "Bolero" that best corresponds to the grandiosity of the original piece blends and recombines classical ballet and diverse dance moves. The choreographer presents a large-scale, highly structured group dance that explodes with extraordinary energy.
