It's been quite some time. After having dropped a couple projects here and there, I've finally resolved my inconclusive behaviour as of late with an arrangement that I've always thought about doing since I saw Lemmonias's arrangement of great escape, which if you haven't seen already, you should check it out (it's amazing).

Lemmonias's great escape arrangement:
   • Shingeki no Kyojin 進撃の巨人 (Attack on T...

More credit goes to him as I actually adapted my arrangement from his. Instances are interspersed, but I really admired how he captured the guitar in the verse, so I definitely wanted to preserve that part (with minor changes in the notes). Of course, the second part of the verse is completely different, but that's because I felt the need to convey the difference between the two parts. In the second part of the first verse, there is the guitar track separate from that of the first part that I really wanted to capture, but it was too difficult :/ However, I did attempt to replicate the guitar (in addition to the vocal track) of the second part of the second verse. I can't discern my success from failure in doing so, but I definitely find it more exciting to change up the right hand in order to contrast from the first verse.

I actually finished this arrangement rather quickly, but the major delay in actually wrapping it all up was the chorus. The first part of chorus was easy enough because of the relatively simple rhythm, but it was the second part that got me. The rhythm is significantly different, and there's also that guitar track that is an important part of the chorus. After some prolonged, careful consideration, I decided on arranging the left hand that would convey the guitar for the first two choruses, and as a way to contrast the final chorus from the earlier two (also for better flow to the segment just after the final chorus), I would arrange the left hand to match more with the rhythm (the drum track).

Having not done a full size arrangement reminded me just how much harder it is than doing a TV size, but it was still really fun to do. The main reason I chose to do the alternate ver. of great escape was the intro and extended outro. My favourite parts of the song would definitely be those, as well as the bridge. With that being said, arranging those parts was very fluent and extremely satisfying to finish.

I decided to finally work on and upload another arrangement is because I realized I had broken 500 subscribers. It really may not seem a lot, but I never thought I'd even get subscribers at all (the channel would just be a public archive of things I did in my spare time). Thank you for your continued support.

I hope second season can revive my severely withered hype for the series.

I might be doing some stuff from this season, but I'm not entirely sure. I would definitely love to do Rakugo 2nd season's OP, but I'm not sure I can do it justice :P

Alright, that's all. Cya

P.S. Props to Goh again
