Atticus is here at Kaleidoscope Kamp for two weeks and he is getting introduced to "herding" ducks. Since Australian Shepherds have herding in their DNA it is a great activity for stress relief, exercise and confidence building. The breed of duck we have is the Indian Runner Duck.These ducks were bred in the Indies for egg production and were driven on food for long distances to market. These ducks love to run and are commonly used for training herding dogs. No ducks were harmed in making this video.
