In this video, we created beautiful Cutting Boards in our Art Workshop!

We began by creating our mold. To create our mold, we used foil tape and wrapped it around a piece of melamine board to create the sides of our mold. Next, we added silicone to the edges to seal them. Using our hand, we helped spread the silicone and ensure the edges were completely sealed.

Then, we began mixing our resin. We used our Nouveau resin. We mixed at a 1:1 ratio by volume for 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the mixing container. Then, we poured the resin into 2 clean mixing containers, along with our Rhapsody and Atlantis metallic powders in one container and Glass Slipper metallic powder in the second container. and mixed for another 3 minutes.

Next, we poured our resin into our mold and swirled the resin with a paint stick. Then, we sprayed 91% isopropyl alcohol onto our cutting boards. Next, we mixed more resin and added a clear layer of resin to our cutting boards. Then, we added more resin mixed with our White Album Juicy Hues pigments and added veins to our cutting board using a popsicle stick.

Next, we used a heat gun to blow out our waves. Next, we cut out our cutting boards in our desired shape and sanded them. Finally, we are finished and these beautiful cutting boards are ready for use!
