Barodol Mela of Krishnanagar is one of the most important festivals in Nadia district . The deity of Krishnanagar Raj is Baro Narayan . The fair is scheduled for 3 days during Dhul Jatra or Holy festival . However , it may continue for a month . The festival was started in the year 1764 by Maharaja Krishna Chandra . The festival is more than 250 years old . A large number of people from far and wide gather in this fair . There are lots of shops selling different kinds of things . Circus , merry go round , etc seats for the entertainment of people .
There are various food stalls . Every year we go to this fair and enjoy a lot . Everyone is requested to visit this fair at least once
