Dot has worked in nursing for 36 years - 25 of which she has spent working with children in hospital. Four years ago, she qualified as an oncology nurse to care for young cancer patients, and she shares her experiences here of working with those children.

Here we meet just a few of her patients - Carter, who is having chemotherapy - and Lachlan, who is getting to ring the bell after completing his treatment for neuroblastoma.
