What’s up guys! I’m finally back after my long cross country move! Now that I’m back set up and ready to get back started in the heart of the smoky mountains here in western North Carolina I want to showcase as many local fisheries and fish species as I can for you guys so starting off with some bass fishing! So in this video I headed out with river reproductions to try and find some trout originally however the wind and the sporadic spring weather put a stop to any type of flyfishing so we backed off circle back and decided to find us some easy bass! We fished a local lake well known in the area where we caught many different species of fish including largemouth bass yellowtail perch and bluegill! We had to use finesse fishing to target these finicky prespawn bass such a small swim baits and Ned rigs! As a bonus we were still loaded for trout so we had to use our small trout rods for best making it ultralight and the fights all the more fun!
