American pro eater Randy Santel and Czech competitive eater ‪@SteelRodRadim‬ Dvořáček, each versus Tony's Giant Deli Grinder Sandwich Challenge at Tony's of Shields in Saginaw, Michigan!! After attempting five man vs food eating challenges around Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Radim, ‪@MagicMitch‬, and I all headed south towards the Detroit, Michigan area for more Michigan restaurant food challenges. On the way down, we stopped at Tony's of Shields in Saginaw, MI so we could each attempt Tony's famous and popular Giant Deli Grinder Sandwich Challenge. Hundreds of people have failed over the past decade that the food challenge has been available. Only a few people have managed to finish everything within the short 30 minute time limit. Radim and I went first, followed by Mitch who went after us. There is a giant deli grinder sandwich made with turkey, ham, and cooked bacon, served on a freshly baked Italian loaf of bread that serves as the bun. Cheeses, healthy vegetables, and sauces all get added on top of the meats, and the challenge includes a side of fries covered with brown gravy, plus a flavored milkshake (your choice). I got a strawberry milkshake and Radim ordered a chocolate milkshake. We were each trying to win our $30 grinder sandwich meals free plus sweet t-shirts and spots on Tony's of Shields' Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to everyone with Tony's of Shields in Saginaw, Michigan for the wonderful food, drinks, slices of pie for dessert, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Thursday evening to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in Saginaw and all around Michigan who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!!
