Cygnus X-1 is a galactic X-ray source widely believed to be a black hole. It lies near the Tulip Nebula, so I pointed my home telescope at this location in 2020. While the black hole can't be seen because light doesn't escape from it, there is evidence of a jet stream being emitted from it causing the formation of a nearby bubble nebula.

Here is the equipment I used to capture it:

Imaging Telescope:
Celestron RASA 8-inch

Imaging Camera:
ZWO ASI1600MM Pro

Mount:
Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro

Frames:

Baader Ha: 160x120" (gain: 75, offset: 15)
Baader OIII: 334x60" (gain: 75, offset: 15)
Baader SII: 109x120" (gain: 75, offset: 15)

Integration: 14.53 hours

Guide Scope:
ZWO 60mm Guide Scope

Guide Camera:
ZWO ASI224MC
