Georgie De Lange, a shy, Eastern Cape boytjie, comes to Johannesburg with the dream of making it in the City of Gold. He arrives with nothing but his hopes, dreams and a picture of his favourite comic-book superhero.

He ends up at Spiertier, a gym in Florida Lake, belonging to the muscular Tristan (Tiger) Jansen. He meets the gorgeous Tanya Martin and the ditsy Gracie. Things soon get out of hand.
