Frederike has been living in Hanover for over 10 years. The city that has the perfect size and the right amount of hustle and bustle for them. Together with her boyfriend Till and their dachshund Lori, she made herself comfortable in an old building and was able to live out her love for second-hand.

The apartment tour begins in the couple's favorite room. Watch a series in the evening or invite friends over for a glass of wine - the living room with a vintage look is the room where people get together and therefore spend most of their time. This also proudly adorns a friend's self-made living room table in the middle. Otherwise, her style is characterized by a mix of new furniture and vintage, which is also reflected in the rest of the apartment.

What she particularly likes about second-hand furniture is the idea of ​​sustainability and that furniture finds a home that might not be as popular elsewhere. However, her second-hand love goes far beyond vintage furniture: she also always tries to buy used clothes, shoes and other items first. Even the dog Lupi is second hand!

On the way to the kitchen, you come across a special second-hand piece: the bureau. They actually found this on their doorstep and decided to take it in, touch it up and repaint it. Now it is not only a true one-of-a-kind, but has also found a nice place in her apartment!

In the kitchen, it was particularly important to them to have plenty of space. Be it to cook together or to welcome friends for a game night. The kitchen was completely empty when they moved in, so when planning the kitchen they initially limited themselves to the worktops and deliberately avoided the wall units because they prefer a clean look.

They especially love the feeling of space in the apartment: the high ceilings, the double doors and the stucco make your heart beat faster every time you enter the apartment. The small dachshund details that run through the apartment are also striking, because Frederike is a true dachshund lover!
