This world-famous traditional march by Karl Komzak was named after the Austrian general Archduke Albrecht Friedrich of Austria. The first performance took place on 25 April 1887 for the 60th anniversary of the Archdukes' military service. The piece appears in the two films "Das Boot" and "Das Wunder von Bern".

The Bundesmusikkapelle Bruck am Ziller was founded in 1798 and is thus one of the oldest music bands in the Zillertal. Since 2014 it has been under the musical direction of Theresa Schapfl, one of only 11 female bandmasters in Tyrol.
