Dr. Faber has joined Christian Health Service Corps after 10 years in Togo with ABWE. Her role is to develop and support CHSC field staff and partner hospitals to implement healthcare quality improvement projects. We are calling this new program Iron to Silver, recognizing that attaining a gold standard in resource-poor hospitals may not be possible. However, consciously striving for higher standards of care is possible and can save the lives of many children born in poor communities.
