Damian Brakel is a Decent DE1 owner, who contributes prolifically to the community. In this low-key video, you'll see his coffee routine, where he shows himself using:

1) his bluetooth scale adaptor, so the scale can reside under the drip tray and never needs cleaning nor does it ever get wet. This is a 3D file you can print yourself

2) his eWDT tool, which is battery based, and grooms his coffee puck. This is both a free to 3D print set (based on another free-to-print WDT tool) as well as a free-to-make PCB.

3) the second version of his DSX user interface, which is a massive rewrite and rethink. Very clean look, while still keeping the power features that DSX v1 is known for. This is a free "skin" choice in the de1app. One interesting innovation is weighing the milk, which he then uses to tell the DE1 when to stop steam when it has mathematically reached the temperature you asked for.

4) His D-Flow profile, which is based on a spring lever concept, but which features a user interface that lets people change the profile, using non-technical concepts.
