For your listening pleasure, I present to you the 2005 Demo "Ten Black Hymns" from the now defunct Salem, Oregon black metal band Leech.
I personally discovered this demo when I was about 19 and was blown away by the musicianship and songwriting on it. Of particular note is the incredible bass playing on this and the other Leech releases, especially their final release, 2008's split with Thou "We Pass Like Night From Land To Land".

Leech are often included in the sphere of "Cascadian Black Metal", which could be considered a spinoff/microgenre of USBM with a more pronounced crust punk influence, but also leaning into more ambient elements, frequently featuring songs with longer runtimes. Other Cascadian BM bands include Wolves In The Throne Room, Ash Borer, Skagos, and the band often considered to be the progenitor of the genre, Weakling.
There is some contention over some of these bands being included in the genre, as nature has played a big component lyrically and thematically for a lot of the more accepted bands in the genre, but frankly I don't think that's the end all be all of what makes a band a Cascadian BM band but if you wanna be a dork about it in the comments, be my guest.

All that being said, I hope you enjoy this complete release of (no longer) lost media. This is one of my favorite releases in the entire genre, and I think it a detriment that it was incomplete on this platform for so long, if no reason other than Hymn 9 being one of my favorite black metal songs ever.
