Chavez Blvd. leads to the Bexar County Courthouse, making it a significant artery in the area.

It is important to note that Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. is currently (April 2024) undergoing multiple construction projects to enhance its infrastructure and accommodate the growing needs of the community. As a result, motorists can expect to encounter road cracks, road repair patches, and protruding manholes along the boulevard. During rush hour times Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. can become congested in some areas. Motorists should exercise patience and caution while traveling on Cesar E. Chavez Blvd.
